Please note that if you're using our SCIM integration, you will need to delete the existing BlueTally SCIM application in your identity provider after resetting your account, and then create it again, as it will need to re-populate your employee list in BlueTally from scratch. If you use the same SCIM application, it will cause sync conflicts down the line.
Your BlueTally SCIM Secret Token will also be regenerated after you reset your account. Please use the new secret token when re-creating your BlueTally SCIM application in your identity provider.
Please refer to our SCIM setup tutorials for recreating your SCIM application.
If you would like to start fresh with your BlueTally account, you can reset it to remove all inputted data across your entire company account, while keeping your settings intact.
To begin, click on the Profile icon in the top right corner of the navigation bar, and then on Settings.
Then, scroll down to the Reset Company Account section near the bottom of the list, where you'll see the button to reset your company account.
All your account settings, like your integration setups (except for SCIM 2.0) and printer configuration, will be intact. The only data that will be permanently deleted is:
Accessories
Activity Log
Assets
Audits
Categories
Checkouts
Components
Consumables
Custom Field Values (not your Custom Fields)
Departments
Depreciations
Employees
Kits
Licenses
Locations
Maintenances
Manufacturers
Notifications
Products
Recurring Audits
Saved Filters
Saved Reports
Statuses (except for the system default ones)
Suppliers
Tickets
Your SCIM 2.0 Secret Token will be regenerated.
Once the account reset begins, your account will be temporarily unavailable until the process is complete. This usually takes less than 10 minutes. However, if you have any of our MDM integrations enabled, it may, in some cases, take up to one hour. Thank you for your patience during this time.
